Custom metrics allow deeper data analysis, going beyond standard indicators. It provides the ability to create your own formulas by combining available predefined metrics (such as clicks, conversions) with arithmetic operators — +, -, *, /, (, ).

# Functionality

# 1. Name

Field for entering the custom metric name.

  • To display the created custom metric, use the metric settings, for example, in the "Campaigns" section.

Displaying the metric in the report column:

# 2. Formula

Field for entering the metric being created. The formula must consist of two or more values (predefined metrics, whole or decimal numbers) using the available arithmetic operators:

+ - Addition

- - Subtraction

* - Multiplication

/ - Division

() - Opening and closing parentheses

# Examples of writing formulas

For convenience: entering the "#" symbol displays a list of all predefined metrics for use in the formula:

WARNING

In the formula, all values must be separated by spaces. Entering the "#" symbol as the second character without a space (for example, "clicks +#") will not open the menu.

# Ability to Use Custom Conversions

Custom metrics provide the ability to use Custom Conversions created in the tracker, significantly expanding the possibilities for creating unique metrics.

# 3. Format

Selector for the output format of the created metric. Available formats:

Number - 4.00

Currency - 4.00 $ (The currency symbol changes depending on the currency set in the tracker)

Percentage - 4.00%

# 4. Decimals

Field for entering the number of decimal places. Available options:

0 - Whole number
1 or more - Decimal number with the specified number of decimal places
